LIMITED WARRANTY

All Zurich Pilot Sunglasses are guaranteed against manufacturing defects.  Defects will be replaced without charge within 60 days, and applies only to lenses and temples.  Abuses, scratches, normal wear and tear are not warranted, and not considered a “defect”.

The “Pilot’s” can be broken, and are not as durable or tough (because of its small size), as the “Original” Zurich Sunglasses.  Reasonable care should be given as with any optical product.  Therefore, this warranty does NOT guarantee for breakage after 2 years.  After 2 years, the Pilot can be replaced for breakage, scratches, etc. for a new pair when you send back the old pair for a cost of $39.00 + $8.95* USA S/H.

NOTE:  IF there is a true coating defect, it will show up in the first month of use, because the coating did not adhere properly on the lenses.  After two months, it cannot be considered a manufacturing defect!  Thus, improper cleaning and/or exposure to certain chemical agents have broken down the coatings, or bonding agents.  Skin creams, suntan lotions, sunscreen applications, etc., and window cleaners are the most common culprits, and will break down even the strongest coatings.

CLEAN & CARE

Any fine optical product requires proper care and cleaning.  ALWAYS CLEAN YOUR LENSES WITH SOFT COTTON CLOTHS.  USE MILD LIQUID SOAP AND COOL WATER.  When boating on salt water, use a product called “Rain-X” to sheet off water.  DIRT can accumulate inside the sunglass case, and scratch the lenses.  We suggest turning the case inside-out to hand wash with mild soap and water occasionally.

NO CONTACT WITH: PAPER PRODUCTS of any kind, SUNSCREEN, AMMONIA, WINDOW CLEANERS, or unapproved chemicals on your Zurich lenses.

TEMPLE ADJUSTMENTS  (NO HEAT to adjust!)

- To tighten temples: Simply bend or bow the temples inwards toward the head. 
- To loosen temples: Simply bend temples outwards away from the head. 
- REPLACE Temples: Align lower peg with lower hole on lens, and push top peg into top hole.
