Hi,
My name is Clee Childress, an old timer R/C
flyer. The other day at the field, I had a
4 stroke
engine backfire and spin off the nut, prop
and spinner. Luckily, I was wearing my rose
colored
Zurich glasses. Some of the parts struck the
left lens leaving a bad scratch right at the
center of my vision. I am sure that if I had
not been wearing my Zurich's, it would have
injured
my eye or broken my glasses. They are the
best eye injury insurance that I can think
of and afford.
Zurich has been great at replacing broken
ear pieces too.

To whom it may concern,
I purchased a pair of Zurich sunglasses at
the show in Ankeny, IA. I liked them because
they were
the first sunglasses that fit comfortably
over my glasses and the clarity was amazing.
I think I could
fly better with them on since I could see
the plane against the sky more clearly, which
is why I
happened to be wearing them on this day.
About a week after buying the Zurichs I
went to the flying field. I was wearing
contact lenses instead
of my glasses. I put the Zurichs on to fly
a friend’s plane. When the engine
started, the propeller flew off and the
spinning propeller hit me. The first blade
hit me in the chest then spun around and
struck the sunglasses dead center in my
right eye. It hit hard enough to move my
head back. If I had not been wearing the
Zurichs I am sure I would be blind in my
right eye. I never wore sunglasses before
this happened. I am glad I decided to wear
them that day.
